Big Game this weekend!
No, I am not starting a thread that validates Spags as a HC

Here are some of my reasons that it is a big game in the continued development of our beloved Rams;
1) Whiner games always mean a great deal to most Ram fans
2) A victory for the Rams will be first Road win this year and virtually assure the whiners they have no chance in the NFC West this year.
3) Rams will hold onto first place in NFC West
4) Above .500
5) Most important reason.....I just got tickets to see this game and of course, looking for a huge WIN!!! Last time at Candlestick was in 99 and we all know what transpired that year !!

Re: Big Game this weekend!
I have to disagree with you... this is a HUGE game for us. Here are the reasons why:
1. Winning on the road for the first time this season, a step our team needs to make in order to truly be playoff contenders.
2. Win against a division rival. A division win would help alot, especially since that means they'd have to beat us at home next time we play.
3. Going above .500 and keeping the lead in the division. If we can get a couple road winning this division is not out of the question.

Re: Big Game this weekend!
As a die hard ram fan of 40 years, the whiner games have special meaning to me. I live in the Sf Bay area and the talk shows are all crowing about the Whiners coming back from their abyss and Sam Bradford being overrated. Even at 2-6 they remain cocky!! We need tp punch them in the mouth. Defense is where we can do this. Finally, different from past years, we seem to have the genesis of a physical defense that can match up well and punish the opponents strength. In this case, it is Frank Gore. Stop him and you win.

I have to say my concern for this game is that mudhole they call Candlestick. Can the Rams perform in that slop of a field? Lets hope so & come out of it injury free.

Re: Big Game this weekend!
This game will define Spags, The Rams and the ninners. If we win, there can be no doubt we deserve first place in the west. If we lose, then we will be paper champions. I say we win........
