I didn't know Randy very well, our communication being limited to these forums, along with the odd PM and an intention to meet up at bash one year to swop stories of the far east and the football field over a beer or three.

I hugely regret that I won't have that opportunity.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends at what must be a tremendously difficult time for them.

i never met randy, nor even had a forum conversation with him but he still had an effect on me and i would always enjoy seeing his red text.

I only knew BRM - as I always called him & it seems false to change now even in the light of this terribly sad news - through the pages of this forum. We interacted a few times & made one another laugh. A small and yet very special thing that I feel lucky to have experienced.My condolences to his family & loved ones.
