I really don't understand your infatuation with darren mcfadden, we have jackson who Is a top 3 back, we don't need 2 backs, whom we would have to pay both 20+ is garunteed money.

Jackson is a beast when he has at least a decent o-line, last year jackson was his own o-line it seemed like because he would have to break one or 2 tackles at the line of scrimmage to gain yards.

I understand that he could have the biggest impact IF we didn't have jackson, but we do, and if we don't resign him I know a lot of fans will be upset and we will be in trouble because he is the centerpiece of this offense. Why draft mcfadden when you have a proven player whom you can pay less money to keep probably.(not gonna save much money though lol)

Well according to Scott Wright, Vernon Gholston is the perfect fit for what our RAMS needs are. Who am I to argue with him.

For 2008, I think the biggest impact comes from Jake Long. Which is to say, he fits two important prerequisites.......early starter & significant improvement over incumbent.

1. Jake Long replaces Barron from day 1 in my opinion. Our RT position goes from the most penalized to the least penalized overnight.

2. Chris Long rotates with Hall, Little & Vic early on, and is starting by mid season. Significant improvement over incumbents.

3. Vernon Gholston will need a little longer to adjust than Long, but should be a significant improvement. However, his contributions on obvious passing situations will be apparent from day 1.

4. Glenn Dorsey will be in the rotation early, but won't be much of a significant improvement over Carriker at UT.
