Lombardi's report about Fisher going to Miami put me in a foul mood for days. So this poll was quite an easy decision for me.!

I put the Shanahan trade nonsense, but mainly because the Browns then whined about it.

Re: Biggest Lie of the Offseason

That Jax would air his 'dissatisfaction' in the press is maybe not the biggest lie, but definitely the most ridiculous. I have never heard him say one word about leaving St. Louis. Instead, through all the coaching changes, losing seasons and perhaps the biggest fall from grace in the history of the league (Thanks Mike!) he seems willing to bet it all that one day we'll reach the promised land again. I honestly hope he can retire a Ram.
If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

I selected the Jeff Fisher one about him going to Miami because I actually believed it for several days. Worse, I became enraged at him for making a stupid choice like that. Jeff, please forgive me. I'm certain you will reward our skepticism with better years ahead.

    Go Rams!

Re: Biggest Lie of the Offseason

I had to go with Steven Jackson wanting a new contract and being shopped - even though we have no confirmation as to the truth or not - I still find it VERY hard to believe that it would be handled this way, so I'm going to consider it a lie until verified otherwise.

    Other:

Jeff Fisher didn't know about Gregg Williams' impending disciplinary issues when he signed on as Rams DC.

Lombardi was responsible for at least two of these stories.

I kept hearing about how the Rams were gonna have so much spending money, and how much room they had under the cap.

    Then...... they didn't.
