Biggest Story of the Offseason
It has been a relatively controversy-free offeseason, but there have been some big stories. Which was the biggest?

Re: Biggest Story of the Offseason
I was suprised that faulk was demoted to a backup runningback.

He wasn't demoted. It was his decision.I was suprised that faulk was demoted to a backup runningback.
The biggest story has to be Big O signing long-term. We never thought this day would come and the big guy is going to finish his career as a Ram. He's our new Big Jackie.

Re: Biggest Story of the Offseason
A great case could be made for Pace, but I've got to say the Little acquittal. It affected his play last year, and if he'd been found guilty, it certainly would have affected his play this year, unless he was doing a re-re-make of the Longest Yard.
"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

well I like hearing points of view from the other side, I can stand in the middle, besides I know you guys are ram fans, but at least you are classy about it.

Re: Biggest Story of the Offseason
I went with the Claiborne and Coakley signing. Of all the stories, it was, in my mind, the least predictable at the start of the season.

Re: Biggest Story of the Offseason
I went with Little, it still has not been surpassed as the biggest story.
I agree with Avenger in that it was not the biggest "surprise" to us anyway but it is the biggest story ............. that and the new ClanRam Logo

Re: Biggest Story of the Offseason
Well, my choice wasn't on here so I had to defer to my defense and say it was the Coakley/Claiborne signings.
However, how could it NOT be the addition of the St. Louis Rams Cheerleader picture gallery on the ClanRam?

Re: Biggest Story of the Offseason
Claiborne/Coakley.
Anyone see Claiborne make that pick late in the game vs. Green Bay in the game of the week on NFL channel?
Didn't see enough to judge his tackling ability, but liked what I saw in coverage, and his moves to get into the end zone after the pick.
Would still have to say that I don't like the fact that the main LB we picked up in the offseason came from a defense that was just as bad at stopping the run.
.....who knows. Time will tell.

Re: Biggest Story of the Offseason
In my opinion, it was Pace signing long term.
