Great points guys, I am very critical of the mind set that Zac can or could handle 70% of the carries or offense for the Rams! Even though I love the job Fisher is doing in all things, I was very happy we drafted another good back to suppliment what we had in house! I felt it was imperative to our success this season to add to our RB's. But to think Tre is going to come in with his being a rookie who needs to work on pass pro and ball security is redonkulous! Zac is the starter as long as he can stay healthy, as to his having off games last season we all know the guy had multiple injuries and still was trying to play through them! The Staff refused to use Peadster as a replacement and went with a beat to heck Zac instead. They trully do have allot of faithe in Zac Stacy! I hope next draft we get our large and in charge pounder back, would be nice if he has some speed too, like a Hill type for instance. Only thing I think we are missing on offense if the recievers come along as Fish/Snead think/hope they will! Runnning back by committee is imperative for us to have success this season, imho! But I would give Zac the nod to start games he is healthy for and then call in the troops on probably half the downs after that. Keeping all our backs fresh or so I would hope!

I'm with AvR on the two back process. I really enjoyed watching Stacy and Bam Bam alter carries last year. I think it put the defenses on their heels often times.

Stacy had 973 yards with only 14 starts. Had he had 16 full starts he would have had over 1k yards. Nuff said.

Right now, there is the possibility we may have 3 really good running backs. What's not to like? Wins are what we like most, and they're more likely to happen with 3 good ones than just 1 or 2 ..

I expect Stacy and Mason to be 1a and 1b respectively. Stacy will likely get more carries against less physical defenses seeing that he's hard to bring down sometimes while Mason will get the heavier load against physical but slower front sevens. It'll all depend on what Fisher and Schotty see in the coaches tape, as should our offense be.

Zac did not start 14 games. He did his work in 12 games, he had one carry in week one.

I don't know about that. He comes out of Auburn a reportedly unpolished prospect, especially in pass protection. He'll start based on being the #2 overall pick, but he'll no doubt have his struggles adjusting to the next level.

Which makes what he did all the more impressive.

    Nice.

I'm getting more, more excited about our two RBs, Stacy & Mason, and the Rams OL in front of them.
