Bogus accounts
Bogus accounts funny at times but of late they have been a bit over the top.
As most of you know, I am a laid back type of guy these days so it takes a lot for me to dust of the Big Red Button and go ahead and push it. I had to do that with one of the bogus accounts today.
As the admin for this site, I know who every bogus account is (via the IP) so I wont tell who the last one was, just lets not continue please
Thanks for listening and can I now, take my Daddy hat off, pull on my slippers and continue enjoying this site and its members, thanks

Re: Bogus accounts
Good call Dez. The alter ego thing can be funny, but it's gotten to a point where it begins to cheapen this great Rams community and make it look second rate. I can only imagine what a potential new member must think when they come here looking to engage in some intelligent, meaningful Rams discussion and see the board permeated with the meaningless drivel that these bogus accounts are spewing.
I know these are tough times to be a Rams fan and the discussions sometimes get heated, but there are more productive ways to express opinions and make points without the mocking, derisive tone of the alter egos's. IMO, we're better than that.

Re: Bogus accounts
I never understood the need to use a bogus account to post inanity.
Either that or I wasn't smart enough to figure it out? (See my comments on threads for proof)

Re: Bogus accounts
Not sure which is funnier...
Posters who were fooled/laughed at some of the light-hearted alias posts (as opposed to the copycat spam-artists), and are now acting all holier-than-thou about it, or...
Posters who virtually never post here chiming in on the subject.
I agree that Dez put a stop to it at the right time, but some of you need to take the sticks out of your behinds.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Bogus accounts
Hey Av...
Not sure if that cannon was fired in my direction or not. I don't think I fit into any of those categories.
I did think some were funny but it got carried away by the need to reply to pert near every thread in pert near the same vein.
I do not mind, in fact I like to see attempts at humor. I even attempt it on occasion, but have been told to not consider changing my day job.RnD

One alias is dead. Praise be given to the man with the big red button.
Football is very serious. It is not a game. It is bigger than life. Let's be serious now everyone. What we say in here really matters to many important people.
