Without a doubt, if he can stay healthy, it's Michael Hoomanwanui. He has the entire package and has already shown he can make the plays that matter as well as get in sync with Bradford. IMO, he has what it takes to be a star for years to come.

Re: Bradford aside, which Ram has the most untapped upside?

I had to go with Fendi. As the question is 'untapped' potential, we all know what DX couold become, what Big Mike could become, what Selvie could become if he got totally 'beefcake', but we dont know what Fendi could become. He could be an outstanding TE like Gates, or he could not. The surface of his potential hasnt even been scratched. If he works hard, devotes himself to learn proper technique i think he could be something special. He only played 1 year at Houston, he has the size, hands, speed etc. hopefully he has the mental tools as well...

I went with Selvie. I predict he will be starting opposite Long within the next 2 years. The guy is a football player. He just needs to get up to NFL speed and he will be a starter.

Im gonna go with Illinois Mike. He has made some nice big plays while being out on the field. Really got unlucky this season with those injuries. He is the complete package and can seriously become a threat soon.

Rodger Saffold, he came here as a 2nd round pick in week 1 as an LT and has a lot of potential to surpass Orlando Pace. Isn't he also wearing his number? I'm pretty sure he's proud to see him honor the #76.

Re: Bradford aside, which Ram has the most untapped upside?

I put the mouse pointer over Illini Mike and decided against him. His upside is sweet but I sort of think people are recognizing it and his upside potential is 40-50 catches per season, that's sweet but not Dallas Clark type of numbers. I changed to Jason Smith. A lot of people are down on the guy because he was shifted to RT as if that means he's a bust instantly. When he's healthy, the guy plays some pretty darn good football. His upper end potential as a top OT in the league is still to be recognized and people aren't as high on him as they should be.

I picked someone else and that person is James Laurenaitus. While I think he's already shown a lot of performance thus far, I think he'll be a household name as MLB for many years to come and will supplant Brian Urlacher as the premier MLB in the NFL. The guy is already great, but he will get even greater.

    Go Rams!

I went predictable with DX. What I love about him is his confidence and determination. He undoubtedly believes he can and should be a #1 receiver in the NFL, and that confidence is needed for someone who has been through so much adversity. I can see him and Sammy tearing up NFC west Ds for years to come...

Fendi .. hands down, hes as raw as they come, they are touting him to be the next Antonio Gates if he can get the hang of the NFL ...

is there a bigger gap between where he's at now and where he could be? i think not.

Re: Bradford aside, which Ram has the most untapped upside?

I voted Murphy, (head vote), I just like the way he plays (read hits), with Gilyard (heart vote) second.
I like the way he plays as well, (if and when he gets the ball in his hands, that is).

I'm going with Avery. It's a shame he got hurt this year. I see a big season from him next year.

Fendi Onobun, definitely. As Bing stated perfectly, the surface of this potential isn't even scratched yet.

I have a feeling he will thrive from mismatches in McDaniel's aggressive scheme. A 6'6, 260lb TE matched up against a smaller DB?

I have to go with the obvious and easy answer but i also think its the best.Fendi has freak abilities and if he can learn the game and adjust to the NFL he will be a great TE lets just hope for our sake he does because we could use a go to tight end.

Re: Bradford aside, which Ram has the most untapped upside?

I'd say anyone who didn't make the trip to Denver.

EDIT: Sorry, I misread the poll question. I thought it said "untaped", not "untapped".

I'm actually going for Darby. I think he can be an effective screen back in the patsy mold & he's already a good pass blocker.
