I said DX because I think in MCD's system he will come into his own.

BUT I really think a case could be made for the WHOLE TEAM, I think we under achieved last year but we will make some major waves this year.

oops... i voted off the threat title of who's got "untapped potential" and went with Fendi. But you expand it in your posting by also mentioning will be a star in the next year or two.

i'll stick with fendi as for raw untapped potential but see him to be more like 3 or 4 before the big breakout "star" quality season. As for potential to be a star in the next year or two... its a tough pick between DX and Ill Mike. Selvie close behind.

DX in a landslide, but I also like our young TEs.

As HUb said, "...a lot of good choices there. Hard to not be excited." Totally agree.

Voted for Avery. I think he will be able to establish himself as key element of the WR group. My first reaction was to go with DX but I think he's already 'in' (and will vindicate himself of that last 2010 game). Great list of Rams with upside to make the Rams a better team. Plus a couple more players or three.

A case can be made for all the players listed on the poll. I chose Donnie Avery, if he can stay healthy, maybe he can finally be the playmaker the Rams have always hoped he would be. "Bradford to Avery" has a nice ring to it and the most "untapped upside".

I chose Illinois Mike because in his limited action he showed signs of being a key player for years to come. Of course you could make the same argument for DX as well.

Really was impressed how Mike came in as a rookie and looked impressive at the TE position. He became one of Bradford's favorite targets, in their early NFL career. A little concerned with Illinois Mike being prone to injuries, though.
