Ignoring the tie, because that's on Fisher
Bradford was amazing the stats dont do him justice he played this game amazingly other than a couple plays. If this wasnt enough to prove hes the real deal your blind.Ill say it again other than DA we dont have any receiver worth keeping rookies aside.
Sam is playing lights out. Very bright future.
not just fisher, players too, you don't need to be set for 4 seconds to snap the ball
and the illegal formation could have gone either way, most people disagree with the call, such as myself
the field goal was absolutely avoidable, and should've been a victory
fisher was dumb for calling a timeout at the two with a little over a minute remaining,
also noting that the slight block in the back negated a punt return to the 2 as well...amendola worked HARD today, for only a tie *sad face*
As head coach, Fisher is responsible for teaching his guys the rules, and for that he takes partial responsibility. There is no excuse for not kicking a field goal before a delay of game penalty, and no excuse for 12 penalties. But I don't blame Fisher one iota for the stupid illegal formation penalty which cost Amendola a huge reception and the Rams a win. That falls on the receiver, who should know basic formations and open his eyes as to where the hell he's standing.
As for Bradford, I think Johnny Hekker should be our starting QB.....
and yes, bradford played very well today
it's been stupid for him to get so much flak
Bradford was great...and this team is completly different when Amendola is in there...I actually have confidence in the offense whne hes playing..when hes out, i just hope we can maybe get a first down..
I pray we resign Amendola.
Bradford has been pretty good this year, but it's clear he still needs a bit of extra help from the WR position from players not named Amendola
Pretty good game from Sam today against a really good defense. And with one reliable receiver and an aging warrior running on heart. Asking more from Sam at this point would be like asking the Earps to take the OK Corral with nerf guns.
I like Sam Bradford because he appears to be a tough, clean-cut football player. He just appears to be a bit slow with everyone except Danny Amendola. He fires the ball to Danny, but takes too long to read the others and cannot throw away the ball quick enough to avoid the sacks. He causes receivers to take terrible hits because the balls arrives late or in the wrong spot.
Why didn't he see the guy off the line on that long ball to DA and call him up?
W O W. That 1st OT nuclear bomb to Danny. If only we could let loose like that a little more! :ram:
also, wtf happened to quick? Had a beast TD then nothing
Verrrry good question! :disapointed:
I still think / hope we have a good set of receivers. We need to learn to better organize that offense (penalties included). Perhaps our Boy Bradford is a slow developer but I believe he is growing along with the rest of the offense. Yes, Fisher is a veteran, winning HC but this is his 1st year with us.
'Hate' for SB is uncalled for at this point and time. :frown:
