Quarterback Sam Bradford was limited to about half the work in practice Wednesday, the first day of preparation for the Rams' game Sunday versus the ***** in San Francisco. In the loss to Arizona on Sunday, Bradford tweaked the ankle that he injured Oct. 16 that forced him to miss two games.
"The ankle is still kind of bothering him," coach Steve Spagnuolo said. "We don't want it to go backwards."
Safety Darian Stewart did some walk-through work but has not been cleared for contact. Stewart suffered a concussion Sunday and was sent home Monday, suffering from headaches and dizziness.
Defensive tackle Justin Bannan (shoulder) linebacker Josh Hull (hamstring) and offensive tackle Mark LeVoir (pectoral) didn't practice Wednesday. All missed Sunday's game. Punter Donnie Jones missed practice for personal reasons and received treatment for an ankle injury.
Wide receiver Danario Alexander returned to full practice for the first time since injuring his hamstring five weeks ago.
"He's got to do a little extra conditioning," Spagnuolo said. "We've got to get him back up to speed."

Arizona cornerback Patrick Peterson was named the NFC's special teams player of the week, following his 80-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Rams. The award was Peterson's second of the season, both for games versus the Rams, and was the fifth player of the week award for a Rams' opponent this year.

The Indianapolis Colts signed former Rams draft pick Jermale Hines from the Carolina Panthers practice squad. The Rams picked Hines in the fifth round in April and waived him September 27. The Colts signed him, then released Hines on Oct. 3. He was claimed by the Carolina Panthers, who later waived Hines and placed him on the practice squad on November 17.

Bradford is limited in the games also! (snare then cymbal hit) ;)
Re: Bradford Limited In Practice
Great timing for his return, DX could be useful against San Fran's smaller corners.?
Re: Bradford Limited In Practice
Ive just read that Bradford has had a setback on his injured ankle today, and was held out of practice.?
Jay (Touchy) Feeley got all the reps with the first team.

This season just gets better and better.
Re: Bradford Limited In Practice
Lol, can the football gods please get the injury bug off the Rams. I would like to see a season where we have only a couple of injuries. This is beyond ridiculous that all of our players are getting hurt. I just don't see why this is happening to the Rams..

If Bradford isn't 100% it makes no sense for him to play especially with the Rams going nowhere this season. I could understand folks being on suicide watch if the Rams were in contention but this game and the games the rest of the season are meaningless to the Rams future. Bradford's health is.
Re: Bradford Limited In Practice
I dont really care at this point. Why have Bradford play if hes been struggling and is getting killed? We have nothing to play him for.
Re: Bradford Limited In Practice
Dammit spags better sit B-ford if he isn't 100%. There is literally no point in having him out there if he's hurt, but then again, its spags.
