I really hate to be THAT guy, but preseason means nothing to me. We went 3-1 last year in preseason....nuff said

Actually we were undefeated in preseason play.

This thread was in response to the major freak out many people were having after our loss to the boys last week. If preseason means nothing to you, fine, but Nick was stressing take the good with the bad.

That being said, there is a certain enigma that a group of fans possess, possibly brought upon by years and years of losing, where they are incapable of taking positives from any situation. If one actively and continually seeks for negatives, they will undoubtedly find them. I pray that those fans keep that perspective regulated to the gridiron, because what a terrible life that would lead to in the outside world.

Bradford dominated against backups. He really couldn't do much better than he did. I don't think anyone is bashing Sam by pointing out they were backups. He didn't choose to have the Ravens starters sit. You play your opposition and do the best you can, he did that and he played well.

What I saw was more help from the payers around him. Smith made a great catch on the deep pass, Sam lead him and Smith made a nice catch, kinda what we saw Mark Clayton do before he got hurt. Pettis on the crossing route for the TD was really moving, ran a nice route and catch.

Still not worried about Sam, still worried about this O line.

Let's put things into context. This isn't about a W-L record during the preseason, it's about how guys execute, how they perform, and their demeanor going into the regular season. Last night, the Rams put together a solid performance, which is what you want to see. Who knows where it leads going forward, but I don't think there's anything wrong with reacting positively to a team progressing, doing the things they need to do to improve, and getting prepared for the games that count.

I wholeheartedly agree.....just as I see fair game for constructive criticism when they stumble and appear to not be ready. We have seen both faces this preseason....onto the regular season

At least we know he's at the very least, backup-QB worth...
