Until he does something to earn a different one, his name is.......

    Rookie.

    Re: Bradford Nickname Needed

    Hmmm...let's see here:

Sam Bradford's first name is Samuel.

    Samuel AKA Sam/Sammy.

In Hebrew Samuel is Shmuel; so maybe we could nickname him "Shmuely" Bradford?

    Just sayin....

    Re: Bradford Nickname Needed

"That's Cowboy's business and hopefully we get him out here as soon as possible, but all in all that's his business and we don't tend to lean towards that stuff."
    - Rookie WR Mardy Gilyard, when asked about QB Sam Bradford's absence at the opening of training camp for rookies. Asked about the "Cowboy" reference, Gilyard said, "He always wears cowboy boots so I call him 'Cowboy.'"

    Re: Bradford Nickname Needed

If you ever saw him play as a Sooner and heard him speak in interviews, Sam is as Blue Collar as they come. I've decided to just call him Sam. I would think that is what he would want to be known as. We can start throwing around real nicknames when he starts winning games.

Now, Laurinaitis was and will always be the Animal Jr. And Jackson is the Predator.

Stoops tried to give him The Big Easy, because he was so relaxed and laid back. Never stuck, but I kinda like it.

    Re: Bradford Nickname Needed

I like the Shaq-esque use of comic book heroes, so here's my list of SuperRams:

    Sam Bradford: Batman
Cool, precise, smart and a leader.

    Steven Jackson: The Punisher
    Don't get in his way.

    Donnie Avery: The Flash
He must learn to use the Speed Force.

Roger Saffold and Jason Smith: The Thing and The Hulk
Who is stronger? Nobody really knows, but its always clobberin' time, and RAMS SMASH!!!!!

    Chris Long: Green Lantern
With enough willpower he can be the most powerful weapon in the universe.

    James Laurinaitis: Sabretooth
A vicious hunter who is definitely NOT a fan of Wolverine(s).
