Sam Bradford and Ndamukong Suh made their selections as the first two players chosen in this year's draft look very good in October.
Bradford, the St. Louis Rams QB, and Suh, the Detroit Lions DT, were named the NFL's Rookies of the Month for October.
Bradford led the Rams to a 3-2 mark in October and to a 4-4 record overall He's helped the team beat already surpass its combined win total for the past two seasons (three).
Suh, who scored a game-icing TD in Sunday's win against the Washington Redskins, had 4.5 sacks and an INT in October.
It's unusual for the top two players selected in the draft to be honored simultaneously. And it could foreshadow a Rookie of the Year honors for both players (offensive and defensive awards are bestowed) at the end of the season.
