Re: Bradford really had "it" today
Was it my imagination, or was the pass blocking better with Turner in the game?

Re: Bradford really had "it" today
Bradford play in the fourth quarter has been amazing. I really don't know what to make of it. God if we could just play 4 4th quarters we'd win every game by 20.

Re: Bradford really had "it" today
For whatever "it" is worth - Bradford is starting to come of age - Whatever "that" means.
The final drive was awesome!!!

Re: Bradford really had "it" today
Bradford has been a beast in the fourth quarter. He still needs help at WR though, but the blocking and Kendricks at TE seem to be stepping up a bit.

I haven't heard, but it looked like Saffold took one in his junk.
Patient, not saintly.

Re: Bradford really had "it" today
Didn't see the game today but from what I've read, sounds like Sam Bradford was Tim Tebow today?

Re: Bradford really had "it" today
Cant blame Sam ONE BIT. The WR's were HORRIBLE the first 3 quarters. They were getting 100% shadowed, so Sam held the ball longer than he should which made everything go down hill. Gibby and Pettis finally stepped up as well as Kendricks on the last drive and we scored a quick and great TD.

Re: Bradford really had "it" today
Let's call a spade a spade. Sam was hardly blameless through much of the ball game. No, he was not helped by his receivers in spots, but he also threw behind guys and the offense was stagnant yet again. And our O-line did a nice job of pass blocking yet again, so we can't blame poor protection. Watching our offense right now is a cure for insomnia. They gained a total of 9 FEET in the 1st quarter, despite good field position.
One of the trends I see by a number of people coming to Bradford's defense is to selectively rip the receivers when they drop balls, yet "forget" the times those same receivers bail out Bradford on bad throws. You can't have it both ways. Fair is fair. And we also can't sing the praises of our receivers then claim they "suck" if Bradford plays poorly.
But Sam came up big when it counted. And as I've said time and again, a QB will be judged on what he does in the 4th quarter wiith the game in the balance. And Bradford once again showed his mettle by leading us to a win. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.

Re: Bradford really had "it" today
I have mixed feelings about Bradford's performance at the end of the game. I'm glad that he was able to lead the team on a game-winning drive, but in all honesty, even on that last drive, he made some pretty bad throws. There was that miracle catch by Pettis that kept the drive alive, and Bills defensive back George Wilson dropped two near interceptions. I'll take the win, but that particular drive didn't exactly add to the legend of Sam Bradford in my book.
