Bradford repeats as NFL's Rookie of the Month

Bradford repeats as NFL's rookie of month BY JIM THOMAS | Posted: Thursday, December 2, 2010 2:49 pm
For the second consecutive month, St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has been named the NFL's offensive rookie of the month. The Rams played only three games in November because of a bye week, but in those games, Bradford completed 79 of 121 passes (65. 3 percent) for 792 yards with six touchdown passes and only one interception. His passer rating for November was 96.8.
During the month, Bradford ran his streak of consecutive attempts without an interception to 169, which is an NFL rookie record.
Bradford is the first player to win multiple offensive rookie of the month awards since Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson did so in September and October of 2007.

Well done Sam, not that it matters to him of course, he would probably say a 1-2 record in November is nothing to brag about.

But we as fans have plenty to brag about, in case you guys didn't hear, we have the makings of an elite franchise QB.

At this point it would be crock, a sham, and a mockery if Sam didn't win ROTY. It would be a SHAMCROCKERY!!!

With as much success as he has had and with his stock on the rise I think the conclusion is inevitable... TRADE HIM NOW!

We could not only get a Herschel Walker type deal but I believe we could actually get Herschel Walker himself.

It would work in Madden I tell you!

    .... aaannnnddddd scene.

All kidding aside is it too early to sign him to an extension?

    Congrats Sammy B.

Im glad I'm not the only person who feels like this lol. Watching him run the no huddle offense and marching down the field gives me chills.

I can't think of any other Offensive rookie having this much impact anywhere else in the league. Actually I can't think of a rookie on any side of the ball having as much of an impact as Sam is having right now. Offe3nsive rookie of the year hell. Rookie of the year period!

Bradford and TIM COUCH (October 1999) are the only No. 1 overall selections to be named Rookie of the Month.

He also set franchise rookie records with 413 attempts, 250 completions and 17 touchdown passes.

Bradford is the first quarterback to be named Rookie of the Month twice.

I cant wait to see sam progress and become only better and better than what we are seeing now . For a rookie to be this good what is he going to look like when hes fully developed and has 3 - 4 years under his belt . . . . . .

Sometimes I have to remind myself that a good thing like this is actually happening to the Rams. It's certainly been a while!

He's doing it with below average recievers aswell. The protection has been superb though. I wonder if teams are keying on Jackson too much, and afforded Bradford the time he's been given. I think teams are now going to come after Bradford a lot more, which in turn will give the running game more chance.?

The offensive line may appear better to you but I think it's a result of Bradford's quick reads and getting the ball out quickly.
