    Bradford Shows His Warrior Spirit

Despite having a bad day, Sam Bradford never gave up and ultimately made an absolutely incredible play to run down safety Roman Harper after almost 80 yards and force him out of bounds on a fumble return that was subsequently reversed. What QB does that!?? Sam Bradford, that's who. Special in so many ways.

Re: Bradford Shows His Warrior Spirit

As he sits there and blames himself tonight I hope he understands that without him we wouldn't even be in the position to believe we were in the position to hang with Super Bowl champions.

The scary thing is how much better he will get because of the lessons he learned today.

The ironic thing is after several posters, including myself, pointed out that it would be nice if he could put a softer touch on some of his passes... he finally lightens up on one and it cost us a pick 6.

I feel sorry for his receivers hands for the rest of the season because I doubt anything but rockets will be coming their way.

After watching the highlight shows, it looks like Harper might never live this down, especially seeing the contrast of him on the New Orleans bench afterward sucking on an oxygen mask while on the Rams bench, Bradford calmly waited for his next chance. Defining moment for both?

We'll be torching the Saints down to their knees once we have a legit threat in WR and OLB. Wouldn't it be amazing if we beat them in the Wild Card matchup seeing that we got an upset by them a decade ago.

Tough day but that was an amzaing play by Bradford. I have never seen a QB run someone down like that.

This loss will pay benefits later on to team and certainly should aid in SB's maturation process.

Bradford showed heart running down Harper. Even though the game was nearly determined by that point, he still gives 100% effort.

He's basically following SJax's lead, because I have to agree with the commentators during the game: Jax was running HARD all game, even at the end.

Both Bradford and Jax are sending the message to their teammates:

    NEVER QUIT. NEVER SURRENDER.

Hurts to lose, but I am proud of the effort. GO RAMS!!

The quarterback is usually in the position of "safety" after interceptions. This might encourage Sam to make more sprints a part of his offseason workouts. Running down db's is awesome....just don't take them head-on please; especially if it's a linebacker.

    Must be that Cherokee blood...

Basically Harper let up on the Play, he could have scored if he wanted to. Guess its needed to find some positives on an otherwise Horrrrrrible day for Bradford.

Just saw the replay, and it really was a great job by Bradford not letting up. Several QBs would have just let the guy go, especially in that situation.

I mentioned this in the game thread. If this doesn't show great character and leadership, i don't know what does. Dude, i don't even do that in Madden videogames...

Gimme a break - Bradford was going to tackle him if he hadn't gone out of bounds. He let up and went out of bounds to avoid getting tackled by a QB.

One thing that some of you may not realize is that Bradford competes hard at anything he plays. If he bowls, golfs, basketball, runway fashion modeling, shooting fish in a barrel, etc., he is going to try to win.

I need to spread it around, Alpha, but you should know hereforth that I agree with just about everything that you say.

At first I thought "Why is he passing up the TD?" Then I saw him sucking down the oxygen on the sideline. Then I knew that Sam's tenacity made him seek the out of bounds vs. having Sam knock him out.

You, sir, have to have a biased viewpoint to come up with that interpretation. There's NOTHING gr8 about you.
