Bradley Fletcher is better than you think

" According to @PFF's grading system, the Rams got beat by the second-best team performance in the league last week. Lions edged Ravens..
    --
Quintin Mikell and Craig Dahl were thrown on 10 times, and gave up 10 completions. (5 apiece.) Fletcher was our best-rated cover corner. "

Finnegan was in the slot most of the game. For Fletcher to shut-down Calvin Johnson for almost 2 quarters was sensational. We have the best CB core in the ENTIRE NFL.

I just really hope that Darian Stewart gets back out here soon.

I already thought Fletcher was the best CB of all time. So he's even better than that? WOW!

I guess that depends entirely on how good I think he is.

Would have liked to see him catch that INT in the endzone.

I have always thought highly of Bradley, glad to see the coaching staff was willing to give him a chance after ACL surgery.

It really is amazing when you think of the injuries the corner back group sustained last year, I would be willing to bet that it was a historic amount of players lost to a specific unit.

Just to clarify, the statement here means that Fletcher ended up being the Rams' highest rated cover corner on the PFF rankings, not PFF's overall highest rated cover corner. It was a bit unclear whenever I read it, since they were quoting things from PFF.

That's not meant to shortchange Fletcher though, because according to PFF, he limited Megatron to two receptions for 12 yards while he was in coverage, which was good enough to warrant a Top 15 ranking by PFF.

Cool. Not that he necessarily needed it, but the competition brought on by signing CF, and drafting JJ and TJ certainly didn't hurt.

And if one looks closely at that play in the end zone, it was like he was in "knock- down mode", and the pass came in lower than expected.

(Just another incredibly astute observation on my part). ;-)

Funny, I saw it the same way. That should have been an easy int!
