Bradshaw and Long - Chumps of the Week

Did you see those guys at halftime? They were making fun of Martz and comparing him to Roy MacAvoy in Tin Cup saying "just throw it Mike!" (comparing him to MacAvoy's insistance on going for the green).

Funny how after the game Jimmy Johnson was the one to comment on the Rams' comeback while Bradshaw and Long were conspicuously silent!

Hey Howie and Terry - you guys were great players, but maybe there's a reason why nobody's calling you up and offering you head coaching jobs!

The Rams probably had the Fox halftime show on in the locker room. That was all the pep talk they needed.

Actually, I laughed and laughed. I think Long was right on. I was throwing popcorn and beer cans at the tv. The defense was so bad guys were checking themselves out of the game. We were lost; and never look worse on offence than when we throw that three yard-sideline-comeback to the ball-across the field wobler.

Man did I loose a lot of respect for you after that shameful exhibition at half time.

Fair enough. Take a half time pop at Mike Martz, sure he can not defend himself and your a TV glory boy. And it truth, the Rams were terrible in the first half.

But where were your balls at the end of the game? Not even got the balls to tip your hat to Martz and how he brought the Rams back. Man, your just like all the rest.

C'mon Howie, you seem like a laid back person. However, to call Martz out like you seem to do every week wreaks of a vendetta. What did he ever do to you? His W/L record stands for itself. Every year the Rams get their roster cherry picked and outside of one year they are always in contention. In the era of the Salary Cap, Mike Martz and the Rams organiztion as a whole remain competitive and a threat to win it all. However, you and your cronie Bradshaw seem to treat the Rams like they aren't worthy of a thing.

You guys just wait. If the Rams make the playoffs again this year, you will be forced to talk about Mike Martz and the Rams organization as a whole as something that Rams fans should be proud of.

The funny thing is, MacAvoy was seen as the hero, not willing to cave in to conventional wisdom, persevering until he did what no one thought he could do. Little did the good ol' boys at Fox know how apt their analogy really was.

And he did. Our team had to have your halftime show on in the locker room because, as you said, they threw the ball straight to the win. With the emergence of Curtis and McDonald you can not discount our passing game. While we at Ram Nation realize you were attempting to criticize Mad Mike Martz, he did his job and led us straight to a win!

On the way into work this morning I was listening to Colin Cowherd (yes, thats his name, cow-herd) on ESPN Radio 1080 the Fan in Portland (where he was before he went national). He was calling them the SeaFrauds - I like that one

I laughed at that Seahags reference! Fox obviously didn't sent their top crew for that game.

I always liked Howie Long, but I didn't see the halftim show, too busy playing with the little one on the timeout. It's disappointing that he agreed with Bradshaw. I used to love it when they had Jimmy Kimmel on there because he would just piss off Bradshaw, and he deserved it.
