Brandon Gibson Is A Keeper

Gibby has taken a lot of criticism, but the guy is getting the job done in Amendola's absence. Today he had 7 catches for 91 yards, including a spectacular one-handed grab while twisting his body, and falling backwards. You'll never see a better catch, from anyone.

The offense isn't exactly lighting it up, but where would we be if Gibson wasn't around?

IMO, "fail miserable" is an overstatement. He's had plenty of solid moments, including TD's in the first two games.

I think gibson is inconsistent....he is like my golf game. sometimes i nail it and make it look easy....other times I look like a hacker......

Fun fact: Brandon Gibson has caught at least seven receptions for over ninety receiving yards only one other time before as a Ram, and it was in 2009 against the Saints with Marc Bulger at quarterback.

He had a couple of catches in the Bears game, so he at least contributed something, unlike most of those on offense. I guess we just see the context of "fail miserably" differently. I don't have a problem with making that assessment, I just disagree with it.

I'm sure we all want to see Gibby build on what he did today, which was stellar.

Gibson is one of those decent fill players... He won't provide great performances on a regular basis but he will give you 2-3 catches for 40 yards a week. I would say he is a solid number 2-3 receiver...

Uhm Gibson takes a lot of heat for poor play so I am not opposing the majority. Also profootball focus single gibson out for his awful play against the Bears.
