**Breaking News** Jackson out atleast TWO weeks.

Not sure if this was posted, or if you knoew but on Pro Football Weekly on FSN they said that Steven Jackson was out atleast 2 weeks.

Yeah, I saw that a couple of days ago somewhere.. can't recall if it was on here or not...

Never be afraid to post something, the worst that will happen is an evil moderator will delete it as a "Duplicate Post".. but if it weren't for evil we wouldn't have anything to judge good by! :) :)

But seriously, even when things get posted they don't always get bumped to where we all see them so it is good to keep some info forthcoming.

Not surprised at all. He tore his groin, that does not heal in just one week. He comes back too soon, it can easily get torn worse. I'd rather he take 2 games off now and come back 100% than come back early and then we lose him for 6-8 weeks.

Saw it on FoxSports a few days ago. I think it said a 40 % tear of the left groin.
And it is AT LEAST TWO WEEKS, and then week-to-week after that.
As long as Leonard can play well, I won't mind. Hopefully Leonard will provide a spark.

I want to hear it from Linehan's mouth, but I agree, a torn groin is nothing that you can give only a week to heal, so it's unsurprising.

Once I heard about the injury he had picked up I expected him to be out at least a few weeks. With any muscle injuries it's hard to put a time on a return but it's important he return's when he is ready and limits the chance of a reacurrence of the injury..

I wasn't suprised bout this news...... I bet it will be uncomfortable all year!!

I'm not surprised at all. I was actually expecting to read/hear 2 to 4 weeks. Good thing we sat Jackson all preseason.:O
