While I am excited to get a new HC and GM in place, to me this is still kind of bittersweet. I was totally thrilled when we managed to hire Spags in the first place, its a shame it didn't work out the way we all hoped it would. And I don't really like celebrating over a man losing his job. I've lost a job before and it sucked.

Less than 24 hours after a loss to the San Francisco ***** cemented a dismal 2-14 season, the St. Louis Rams have fired head coach Steve Spagnuolo, Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer reported.

Spagnuolo and the Rams came within one win from a playoff berth last year -- his second season as the Rams' head coach -- but the team fell apart this season amid a slew of injuries and uninspired performances.
The Rams ended the year on a seven-game losing streaks as speculation swirled that Spagnuolo would be let go at the end of the season.
Spagnuolo went 10-38 in his three years with the Rams.

Its time to build a winning tradition and lose the losing culture. Its going to be tough. Restoring prestige to a orginization who's fanbase includes some who wanted to keep the 10-38 coach isn't going to be easy. But this is the first step in the right direction.
