Re: BREAKING NEWS: Tight end Brandon Manumaleuna traded to San Diego

My God this is a fantastic trade! I cannot believe anyone would pay a 4th for Manu, I would've paid to get rid of that lazy chump. Victor Adeyanju is a great way to use the pick too, I was hoping we'd find a way to get him. I'm still not ecstatic about all the players we picked in this draft, but this brilliant move calls for celebration I think!

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Tight end Brandon Manumaleuna traded to San Diego

When Manu didn't show up for the off-season program, I wondered if this was his way of telling the FO that he no longer cared, or if someone had hinted that he had a lot of work to do if he wanted to stay.
I thought Manu had potential that he never seemed to want to tap. Had he been able to get his s*** together and work on it, he could have been a decent TE, not great, but definitely better than he was.
I didn't think we'd get a fourth round pick for him. Late fifth, maybe, but a fourth is sweet. And on top of that, we end up getting this Adeyanju kid.
Manu, good luck in SD. You'll make a great backup for Gates. I wish you could've done better for us.

What I love most about this trade is that we actually managed to trade Manu for a higher draft pick (113 overall) than his original draft position (129 overall).

    Bye Bye Manu

I've never really had anything good to say about Manu. We clearly overpaid to keep him here. So thanks to Manu for not showing up to the offesason workouts and sealing your fate as a Ram. Thanks to the coaching staff for cleaning house when it came to Manu, hopefully we flourish at the TE position now.

Great move on trading down to 15 and still getting the guy we wanted I might add.

Call me a draft / cap idiot, but does this effect us in any way via cap reasons? Happy to see the move, but don't want to be penalized for the next several years for offering up a STUPID contract in the first place.
