High praise for Bradford and Fisher.

Significant concern for young, unproven receiving corps.

Delusional apologist! How else could you describe someone who has so much faith in Bradford, and thinks his problems last year resulted from injuries, a lack of talent, and a revolving door of coordinators?? He's a hack...........

What Billick didnt mention anything about Bradfords lack of intangibles. I didn't here him mention that Bradford doesnt move well in the pocket. He basically said Bradford doesnt have much to work with in the recieving core. Not sure how this will set with our experts but I'm going with Billick on this one.

Billick brought up some good and valid points. Then he had to cause me to question his credibility by saying the Whiners might be the best team in the NFL.

Brian Billick is a true bona fide expert on all things football. In 4 of his 6 years as Vikings OC, they had a top 10 offense, including 1998 when they had the #2 total offense, #1 scoring offense, #1 passing offense, and #1 passing TD offense. He then became the Ravens HC, and took a franchise with 0 winning seasons and put them in the playoffs 4 of his 9 years, including the 2000 Super Bowl. This guy knows exactly what he's talking about.

Well, what does this fool know anyway? He wouldn't know QB talent if it hit him in the face. Dumbest man to ever pretend to know something about football!!!

Yeah but he followed that up with The Rams will be competing for the West very soon!

That being said they need to show me this year that they can do two things.
Be plus 28 on the turnovers and stay as healthy as they did last year.

9ers 2011 In breaking down AGL, Football Outsiders looks at injury status as part of the formula. The ***** listed players on injured reserve or as out or doubtful for a grand total of 25 combined player weeks. For comparison's sake, if you take the 53-man roster and multiply it by 16 weeks, you get 848 weeks. That's pretty crazy.

In looking at the positions involved, the most injury status weeks featured the wide receiver position, and the fewest (while still being on the injured list) was outside linebacker. Parys Haralson was listed as probable one week, but otherwise, the OLB position was never on the injury list. It's understandable why the team would address the OLB depth in the draft. It is unreasonable to expect another injury-free season.
    Is It a Fluke?
A lot of research has concluded that turnovers are not consistent from season to season, which is why you see teams have such wild jumps in their interception totals, as well as the quarterbacks. Turnovers are very situational, and include a fair amount of luck. Not fumbling the ball is a skill. Recovering a fumble is chance.
    Turnovers.

No team had fewer giveaways (10), which tied the NFL record set by the 2010 New England Patriots.
***** tied the Saints, Bills and Patriots for the fewest lost fumbles (5) in the league.
***** tied a NFL record for fewest interceptions in a season with 5.
No team had more takeaways (38) than the *****, giving them a league-best +28 turnover differential, which is tied for 4th highest since 1940.
***** led the league in forced fumbles (31) and fumbles recovered (15; tied with Minnesota).
***** had 23 interceptions, which tied them with New England for 2nd most in the league (Green Bay – 31)

They are a good team, IMO they are the best in the West. They will not win as many games due to the turn over ratio alone add the average amount of injures that all teams will face will make it even harder for them to win as many games. Injuries are part of the game they will happen.
