Brian Leonard?
I don't get to see many Ram's games. What has he been doing the past two years? Has he been injured or is he just a complete bust. I remember being really excited about him.

Re: Brian Leonard?
He shouldn't be playing FB his body hasn't held up. I would give him a shot to backup S-Jax and get a real FB. I would normally complain and say we should have drafted Ryan Kalil but who care we have Jason Brown

Re: Brian Leonard?
I'm very excited about Brown and Butler(soon to be) but one of our other needs are to find a backup to jackson. leonard has been at fullback and apparently that didn't work very well but does he have what it takes to be a number 2 hb? Or do we need to get a cheap free agent or draft a hb?

Re: Brian Leonard?
They might pick up ward since he knows spags but if a hb like donald brown slips to the 3rd round it would be a great steal.

Re: Brian Leonard?
yea, we need a durable rb in any case since s-jax has a history of injuries. The oline is looking good and a power fb in the middle of the draft wouldnt hurt.

Re: Brian Leonard?
Kenneth Darby IMO is a tremendous backup for Jackson..hes powerful, and defenses really dont know too much about him..I think a fullback will do us great justice, but with the signing of Brown, Jackson isnt the only one thats gonna bust for major yardage..

Re: Brian Leonard?
Living in New Jersey, I follow Rutgers. I saw plenty of Brian Leonard when he was in school. He was a worker and a very nice college player, but I always had doubts about his ability at the next level. That has thus far played out, as he has been either injured or ineffective for much of his time in St. Louis. He typifies the Rams' draft struggles in the recent past- The Giants had an opportunity to get Leonard the pick right before the Rams in round 2 and didn't bite. When a team in your own back yard in need of a fullback (as the Giants were at the time) doesn't select you, that tells you all you need to know.
Brian Leonard will have to duly impress to make the squad this year.

Re: Brian Leonard?
I know most rams fan's aren't going to like this but i really dont like the way stevie run's the ball with his size...he should be running people over and picking up every third and short yardage we come across...love the rams but not a big stevie fan
