I think there are 3 things I want him to get better at:

#1 - Jumping to catch ball at highest peak

#2 -- Coming back to ball after route

#3 -- Lateral movement in route and ATC

The rest is there. He has a body like Dez Bryant but the indecision of a College WR this season.

Looking for a big Pre--Season next year.

We all got suckered in by the Michael Silver article where Quick was called the next T.O. and got our hopes way too high.

No, we did not ALL get suckered. Nowhere in that article did Silver say that Quick would develop into the next T.O. in his rookie season.

Not in his rookie season, but Silver's title was Rams land next T.O. in Brian Quick following secret trip to North Carolina. Which was a dumb headline thanks to Ray Sherman's quote, "I see a lot of similarities to Terrell Owens. The way the kid goes and gets the ball, the physicality, the desire … he has a chance to be special, no doubt."

Either way, the expectations were too high. I don't see the TO comparisons, but Quick definitely has the look/build of an eventual NFL starter (unlike Mardy Gilyard ever had...).

Remember when most receivers were expected to break out in their 3rd season? That was the standard. Where did that patience go?

Like others have said, it's up to Quick where he goes from here, but let's not kill him just because he hasn't adapted very quickly. He came from Appalachian State!
