    You mean except for last year when he gave away the playcalling responsibilities to Greg Olson because his offense gameplans were completely ineffective. Or this year when he took it back from Greg Olson because of ineffectiveness and still remains completely ineffective himself, right?

    You can't compare success as a Coordinator with success as a Head Coach.

    The Graveyard of fired Head Coaches is littered with good coordinators.

    One easily understood example. You have a Head Coach instilling Discipline. The Off-Coord runs around drawing new plays and considering the X's and O's. The HC retires and the O-Coord becomes HC. If that team doesn't have discipline - it has nothing. The wheels will come off that cart.
