Brock Berlin
Help me out here. Is he a pocket passer? Is he mobile? Does he have a gun for an arm? can he get himself outta trouble? All i know is his high school and collegiate careers were pretty impressive but i can't paint a picture on what type of QB he is. So wattawegot playin for us on Sunday besides a potential sitting duck?

Re: Brock Berlin
I don't know anything about him but I wish him luck tommorrow, the bengals don't know much about since he hasn't played,maybe he plays well enough for the Rams to steal a road win.

Re: Brock Berlin
I've been looking for ANYTHING scouting report wise, but I couldn't find anything. The only thing I came across was one website calling him the most inconsistent college QB ever. Some games he's on fire, other he's horrible. That has me a little worried. We just need him to be solid.

Re: Brock Berlin
I was hoping someone was going to say his last job was stocking shelves at the local grocery store.

Some scattered findings for you Guam;

After getting a closer look at Brock Berlin in mini-camp this week, the Cowboys have released him. The Cowboys felt that last year’s practice squad QB (Matt Baker) and undrafted free agent (Matt Moore) had more to offer them than Berlin did.
Berlin, who wasn't drafted in 2005, played in NFL Europe last spring for the Hamburg Sea Devils. In the 2006 preseason with the Dolphins, he completed six of 12 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.So I'll leave up to you guys to discern whether playing for BOTH Miami and Florida are attributes or detriments.CAREER: Enters his second season as the starting quarterback after starting 12 of 13 games in 2003...an accurate passer who has produced a high completion percentage...weathered an inconsistent 2003 season by showing poise under pressure and exhibiting strong leadership skills...produced one of the most accurate seasons ever by a Miami passer in his first year as the Hurricanes' starting quarterback... teammates praise him for being a calm, steadying influence even in difficult game situations...graduated with a degree in sociology in May of 2004.
All I can say to the grandson of Irving Berlin(White Christmas) and who was born on the 4th of July is.... Good Luck young man, show us what you can do on the football field!RnD
GO RAMS!!

Re: Brock Berlin
I saw a lot of him at UM. He has a big arm, and does best from the shotgun. He is very "streaky." He'll look like a world-beater for a few series, and then look like Jeff George's near-sighted cousin the next.
I wouldn't hold out too much hope that he is the next great Rams QB.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!
