Coach Jeff Fisher said the Rams made it through the game relatively clean and actually made mention of the Rams getting healthier, namely on the defensive front.
That means that DTs Michael Brockers and Matt Conrath could be back in the mix next week. Brockers, in particular, seems to be on track. He actually went through a pre-game warmup workout with strength coach Rock Gullickson. It looks good for the prized rookie’s return sooner than later.
Let's hope we see Brockers this Sunday in the lineup. We will need his big wide body against Mr. Lynch aka beast mode aka skittles aka candyman aka thizzle man aka " Darren Sharper hold mya D*ikkk" aka Mr. Drunk driver...
I'm all for Brockers coming back if he's at or near 100%. Nothing is more aggravating than rushing a player back before he's ready, creating a nagging, recurring injury.
Agreed, but if he was close enough to make the trip to CHI & get a pre-game workout, it sounds like they are being sufficiently cautious with him. Really looking forward to seeing how much more impactful that LB group, esp Lau, can be with some stoutness in the middle, not to mention Long & Quinn.Quote:

how long was brockers supposed to be out? It was like what...4 weeks?
We just got Steward back once we get Michael Brockers and Matt Conrath back we will be near 100% on the defense. That's a far cry from last year.
We have all of our receivers and running backs. We are just decimated on the O line.
Don't you find it a bit of hard luck that we are dealing with multiple injuries to this unit similar to last year when 8 of our CB's were out for the season?Quote:

I can't wait to see Brockers out there. I wish he played against CHI, would of been awesome to see Michael Bush get stopped behind the line with nowhere to go down the middle. Hopefully Brockers can get playing this week, and can help close gaps and bring down Marshawn Lynch.
I think by seasons end, we will all be talking about Michael Brockers being the best DT from this draft by far.
Fisher on his weekly show said Brockers had a really good workout on Sunday said he will practice Wed. Followed by he should be ready this Sunday and that will be huge for us.
