Like many of us, I only know BRM through this forum and have never met him in person. What comes across clearly, though, is that Randy is a true "larger than life" character: a man with a great sense of humour and a heart of gold.

I'm not religious in the slightest but my thoughts are with Randy and his family at this most testing of times. I wish him a rapid and complete recovery.

I also have known about this for sometime now and was troubled as to whether or not to post it on here. I'm glad someone did go ahead and do it. The power of prayer is a great thing and Randy can sure use it now. I also have never had the privlege to get to meet him in person but feel like I have from his postings here and on FB.

Pretty soon we will be saying remember that time you kicked the ish out of cancer Randy. May the lord be with you and your family. Or buddha, Ganesha, Allah or just plain and simply positive life forces. My sister in law beat the crap out of cancer just a few years back. Keep that positive mentality you have always shown .

BTW guys, anything you can do to keep BRM laughing would be great. For those that have met him, you know how Randy laughs. I think that laughter can surely help him in this fight.

He is apprehensive today...waiting to find out what the deal is with his biopsy. Once he completes the biopsy, he'll have a better idea of a plan for treatment.
