Brown Suspension Coming Before Draft?

Andy Strickland reported on The Roll Home on Team 1380 that the Rams have asked the NFL to let them know how long Fakhir Brown's alleged suspension will be before the draft so they know if they need to replace him.

Strickland said it is likely that Brown will be going on a year-long vacation, according to the rumors that he has failed his third drug test.

Still rumors, but none the less... balls. If we can still make a sensible trade for Sheppard, I'd be all for it about now. 4th this year and a 4th next year? Or even a 3rd next year?

Ugh!! I wonder if he's going to cry foul like he did last year when he said it was all just a scheduling and location misunderstanding?? If this turns out to be true, we could be in a huge bind, especially with a history of trying to plug in guys like Lenny Walls and Mike Rumph.

I'm so burnt out on speculation and rumor. If there really is a violation, come out with it already. We all KNOW that automatically the next step is to be gone for at least one year, so if it happened just SAY SO. This has been going on for well over a month now, enough is enough. A bit frustrated? yeah. And just to mirror what others have said; the thought of another talented "brat" throwing away his future over something so stupid and silly is simply amazing to me. I would just like to "know" rather than playing the rumor game.
