O-Line is the #1 priority! And I think Pace just stepped up for us! :tough:

This is bad news. I don't understand why they just sit there and let good players walk away.

He is good but not great. I would've liked it if he signed with a non conference team. Then again. Old Grant walked and we still destroyed the sqwuaks three times so.......
I think Hardgrove will be a very solid player. He just needs playing time.

Because we already have a starter at DE (Hargrove) and Fisher wants a chance to start somewhere, from what I've read.

I don't know what I know about football, but I get bad feeling about Fisher leaving. I was fine with Wistrom leaving. I felt he was overpriced and I was not all that impressed with his intensity in 2003. For some reason, I think we will miss Fisher. I am not happy that he is going to play for Seattle either. I can't explain my thoughts sometimes. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

I like Hargrove. I am still using his quote, all though I need to change that quote. It is old.

I think many many teams missed the boat on fisher. I appreciate our situation, and not just the uncertainty regarding pace, but the fact that our eggs are in the Little basket and hargrove is a strong guy for the future. We need help on the o line and at safety. Fisher would have be nice to have, but i cant believe that this was the best contract fisher could get given how desparate teams are for pass rushing, notwithstanding what is in the draft.

I wish him well, we now need to consider adding a pilot to the squad, since in the event of a crisis on the team plane, there is one less guy to fly the aircraft.

I don't like it. Hate it even more when they sign with the teal seachicks....

As a seahawks fan, Bryce Fisher seems to be a decent replacement for Chike Okeafor with similar production, but much cheaper. So overall, it seems like a good value pickup for us, but an unspectacular one. Any reason to change my mind?

A good player and a good guy, but he won't turn the Hawks' D around.

    Thanks guys

That's kinda what I figured, but we did get him relatively cheap so hopefully we saved enough to get someone like Hartwell who may just turn things around.

You know this really stinks. I read several reports that Fishers price range was too high. Are you kidding, 4yrs 10 mil was too high give me a freaking break. That seems awefully cheap and awefully cap friendly. I guess the FO figured we are set at de with Little's legal problems and Hargrove and oh crap what the hell is the fo doing?

    Byproduct of Pace dragging on

I know it might seem low, but I see this signing as a byproduct of the Pace negotiations. The Rams couldn't make too much of a new move until they got that hammered out. They wouldn't know their cap space etc.

I think Fischer is a big loss - work ethic, versatility, character. I think you overpay to keep those guys. With Little's future uncertain I think it was important to keep him.. but I think with the Pace stuff they had little choice.
