Which "Bubble" Player Would You Give "Cut Immunity"
If you could protect one "bubble" player from being cut, who would it be?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

I voted for Hedgecock, though I admit I don't know much about this Mark Fitzpatrick fellow.

Mark setterstrom, to me looks like a keeper, he has a good camp and I think he may turn out to a be a quality player for the line.

Re: Which "Bubble" Player Would You Give "Cut Immunity"
Setterstrom, though I don't consider him a bubble player. I think he's our 3rd guard right now. he's a future starter for this team once Timmerman is finally done- whether that's 2007 or mid-season...
Short term I'd also say Hedgecock, since it's clear the Rams need a good blocking FB for the running game, plus he's a good special teams player.

Re: Which "Bubble" Player Would You Give "Cut Immunity"
I voted for Mark Setterstrom. We need to have solid depth on the O-line and from all accounts it sounds like Setterstrom is someone who could step in the starting roll if needed.

The Hedgehog. If Smith is already dinged up in preseason, we better have a good #2 guy.
I do not see Fitz as a bubble, he will be the #3 QB.

Re: Which "Bubble" Player Would You Give "Cut Immunity"
I voted for hedgehung because setterstrom is not a bubble player.
The tough choice for me would have been hedgecock vs. larry turner who probably is a bubble guy, but i cant see us without a backup center in the same way i cant see us without a backup fullback.

Re: Which "Bubble" Player Would You Give "Cut Immunity"
honestly, i don't believe any 3rd string ram player on this team deserves an "immunity" from being cut...
let the best players that fit linehans system make the team...

Everbody who played in the second half should be shot, then cut.

Re: Which "Bubble" Player Would You Give "Cut Immunity"
Come on guys, it's none of those guys. I honestly think we can find players on the cut list from other teams that can replace ANY of those guys. I don't want to lose Russell. The guy gives it 100% on every play he's involved in. We sure in the hell can't say that about a lot of guys we watched tonight. Keep Russell, use him as a kick returner and specialist in the backfield with Jackson.
