Bulger lost this game!
Bulger does not suck, he just dont have what you need, to be a great QB.
He has two good throws and then 13 bad, not good. For you Bulger fans
I hope you have seen the light, if not, O well... For us fans that want a
better QB we better hope it happens in the draft.
Reasons Bulger should be gone next year.
1. Cant let go of the ball.
2. Cant read D.
3. Very, very often cant throw the deep ball.
4. And should be #1 he is no leader.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Bulger lost this game!
I for one, don't think Bulger cost us the game. However, I don't believe he's a QB that can single-handedly win a game either. ...and he proved that today, again. He threw some nice passes in the first half, then reverted to quick, off-balanced throws when we really needed him. And... he miss-read the open guy on a few occasions. He just doesn't seem to have "it" when it comes to game winning drives.
What killed the Rams today was poor red-zone offense. FG's instead of TD's won't get it. Not against a team as well coached as the Patriots. Yeah, I know, it's hard to say, but Belicheat and his staff outcoached the Rams staff (again).
The Rams played against the Patriots home field advantage, a totally biased officiating crew, and the loss of Little and no Jackson did in the Rams today. Bulger just doesn't have enough talent to win the game by himself. But I wouldn't say he "lost the game".
He just didn't pull out a win for us.Faithful Rams fan since 1968

Re: Bulger lost this game!
Name me the qb's you would rather have than bulger. No one ever said he was the best qb in the nfl but i strongly disagree with anyone who thinks that there are 10 guys better than him if you compare apples to applies (ie comporable running game, quality of recievers and offensive line). Drafting a qb to come in here will take years to come to fruition and then its still a crapshoot. We are better off improving our offensive line, in which case bulger will again play at a pro bowl level. Dont listen so much to jc pearson. He is hardly an expert on the rams.
Put bulger behind the patriots offensive line and give him those receivers and he will look like an all pro again in about two seconds flat.

Re: Bulger lost this game!
So you're giving the OL a pass?? Please. Bulger was under duress most of the game, got sacked 4 times and was regularly knocked to the ground, yet still managed to pass for over 300 yards. What Matt Cassel was able to do should tell you eveything you need to know about the importance of protection and time to throw.

Re: Bulger lost this game!
Bulger did not lose this game, but he does seem to have lapses and make poor throws and decisions at times...but who else do we have? I'll support him, but I think that he could use a little work on mechanics and PTSD counseling from the previous two years work...

Re: Bulger lost this game!
how is he going to set his feet to "throw the ball away" without getting hit in the throwing motion and risking in a big way a game changing fumble.

Re: Bulger lost this game!
Just another typical Bulger hater who will be rooting for Kurt Warner next week rather than the Rams...

Re: Bulger lost this game!
With the odd season we have, I'm going to give Bulger a break. I think the Linehan era greatly shook him. Along with Tony Banks-like protection. I just think it's all ruined his confidence, but I do think he's getting some of that back.
Just have some patience. Also, the Cardinals defense will have a way of making our offense look better.... LOL.
