What yall think?
What yall think?
I went with about right. It was a no brainer for the RAMS to lock up Bulger. There are alot of teams in the NFL that are searching for a QB they can call their absolute starter. We are lucky we don't have that problem.
I really have trouble faulting Bulger for these problems. Even if he was off on some of his throws, the guy was playing with broken ribs. Has be been healthy at all this year? For what, part of the first game? I say about right considering the Oline situation
The thing we need to go out and overpay for is quality line help.
I would say given the circustances at the time, he was paid correctly. That's not saying we couldn't of gone a different direction or should have pursued a bluechip QB in last year's draft.
oops...I clicked on the last option lol but I think it was about right considering some of the other deals that QBs of his caliber have been receiving such as Drew Brees getting 10mil per year last year.
He got paid commensurate with his production to that point. I wouldn't have been happy if we let him go because of money. It really isn't easy to find a QB of his talents.
The reason this thread was even maid was because of bulger's bad start, look bulger is a franchise starting QB and he deserved a new contract, not to mention we signed him after his final year of his old contract, if we had let him go into F.A. you would have had a fitt
The man is definitely worth the money. He simply just needs some time to throw.
I accidentally voted overpaid but meant About Right.
He has played very well up to this year he is worth the money.
We paid market value for a pro bowl caliber QB who has another 4-6 good years left in him. The vast amounts of injuries and play calling are the problems, not Bulger in of itself.
I'd say about right. Hes a great QB, with great power, acc. awareness, and speed. And with a lot of people looking for a starting QB to lead the team, Bulger had to stay with the Rams.
I voted overpaid, because they're all overpaid.
They got it right.
Bulger is our man and deservedly so. What needs to happen now is an investment into some quality linemen.
