    Bulger or Romo

Bulgers numbers were better last year but Romo took the boyz to the PO. Throughout the offseason Bulger was billed " the most under rated QB " and occassionally, Romo's name was above Bulgers in rankings and it drove people nuts on this board. I still feel we have the better QB although it doesnt show right now but if you were to choose between the two to lead you to the promised land with any team, who would it be. Oh! since we're at it, would you rather have Linehan or Phillips leading that team?

No question about either. Bulger, Phillips.

No doubt about it- Romo and Phillips.

Romo has already proven that last season was no aberration and Phillips has always improved a defense no matter where he has coached.

Defense wins championships but you have to have a reliable and mobile QB to get some points of your own- even when the opponents are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him.

IMO, Bulger is the superior QB due to a) experience and b) accuracy-- in terms of completion percentage over the last 2 years they're pretty equal, but look at the TD/INT quotient.

In just ten games, Romo managed to throw 5 more INTs than Bulger in a full 16 game season. Bulger also threw for more TDs and more yards. It's not fair to make the comparison this season as Bulger has been playing with broken ribs the last 2 games. Come back in week 8

In the coaching stakes...No comment. Phillips is very good defensively and has coached the Cowboys to a 3-0 start, but atm, the seat is reserved for Linehan through homerism. However, I'm quite unsure about his performance as a HC this season, so we'll have to see if he can make the most of what he has.

I would take Bulger ten out of ten times and I will pass on both coaches, I really woundn't want either one of them.
