    Bulger is signed, now what?

Marc Bulger signed a 6 year, $62.5 million dollar deal with $26 million guaranteed. He 100% deserves this in my opinion. But what does this mean for next year when Steven Jackson wants a new contract? Will we have enough in the bank to keep him, and if we do, who of the current Rams we know and love will it mean will have to go?Maybe nobody leaves and we get everything we want, but when does that ever happen? Thoughts?

Do what KC did, and bring back Faulk as leverage...

If Zygmunt knows anything, it's how to work the cap space. I'm sure he had this in mind the past couple years and I'm sure we'll have enough space. Do we really have to have THIS discussion now?

We havent had a Rams game in over six months, and are football starved. Why can't we discuss this now?

The reality is, there isn't much to discuss right now.

Absolutely a sunny day. Why instantly start searching for the negatives of every situation?

Talking about a CONTRACT issue that is a year away doesnt really have a thing to do with FOOTBALL. Camp just opened and ALL the pieces are in place. NOW is when the real FOOTBALL talk can begin. Save your draft/contract/trade/free agent/holdout nonsense for the OFF season.

We're not giving Marc Bulger over $10.4 million/year so he can struggle with lack of a running game after this year. We still have unspent cap money from this year, plus the cap is likely to go up next year. Ziggy is all over it!!!

Think positve thoughts, this is a great day!

    Go Rams!

It was the off season until this morning. Excuse me for thinking ahead and starting a thread about football on a football forum.

Let us be happy with this contract Bulger received, and which I believe is a damn good contract. I am glad he's signed and the FO didn't mess around until after the season was over for him to be a free agent.

You know I read this thread shortly after it was started. No one had responded to it yet. I have to admit I didn't want to respond but instead enjoy the Great news of the Bulger signing and allow that to sink in. I still feel that way....

Now we get ready for a great season with alot of hard fought battles leading us to the playoffs. With everyone signed & in camp the Rams can concentrate on football. Simply beautiful
