It might just be the sceptic in me speaking, but I'm going to wait a decade or so before I dole out my Bradford V Bulger comparisons.

    Re: Bulger vs Bradford

Marc Bulger's first start for the Rams was a 28 - 13 win over Oakland
His passing stats were 66% completion rate for 183 yards, 3TDs and no Ints.
He also scored a rushing TD on a QB sneak.

In fact, Bulger won the first 6 games he started for the Rams.

I think some people forget how good Bulger was in his earlier years with the Rams

Seriously? After ONE game? No other comments necessary.

Bulger in his early years, he was on fire. He was a really talented quarterback.

Let's not compare them just yet.

Has there not been enough Bulger hater threads already? Just had to have another one because even though Bulger is gone people still cant just let him be gone. Let it go people let it go. Hey maybe we should start re-hashing what a bad draft pick Lawrence Phillips was. It's in the past people Bulger is a Raven and there is almost no stone left unturned about his time here lets be a little more creative.

    Re: Bulger vs Bradford

I'm all a out Bradford, but if he's a 10 in athletic ability, what does that make Mike Vick?

I that picture you asked about is Dick "Night Train" Lane, but I could be very wrong.

Agreed. I saw Bulger start against the Raiders in 2002 when we were 0-5 and the Raiders were 5-0. We won that game and the next 4 to get to 5-5. Warner came back after that and we finished 7-9.

Bulger looked good early in his career. As far as Bradford, the comparison is a bit premature.

I'm not a Bulger hater. I think he was extremely accurate. However, I am thoroughly impressed with Bradford.

.......I think we had a better O-line in those days anyway.

Contest declared....Null (not Keith) and void.

I was at that game too!!

    HA HA!

    Anyways...

But its way to early for me, and nor am I that bothered! The past is exactly that, I thank Everett, Warner, Bulger for their QB contributions to this team in my time as a fan. All 3 of them were quantum leaps ahead of your Brocks, rubleys and banks of the world. All 3 had their ups and downs.

But now I am simply more interested in Bradford and what he can do.

The only thing I look to the past for is learning.

Lets not bash Bradford like we did Warner and Bulger, BOTH whom displayed some pretty bad battered QB syndrome symptoms whilst here.

Lets learn from our mistakes rather than pin a blame on a single player who isn't even on the roster and get Sam a No 1 target. NOW!

    Back up RB, NOW!

lets make his job easier, I dont want to see him gun shy in 3 years like our last 2 QB's. I know martz was a genius (and a QB killer!) lets learn and give him targets.

Lets protect our number 1 guy and give him the chance to be as special as he can be.

    Re: Bulger vs Bradford

Bulger did have a nice win for his first game. Would have been nice for Bradford to get a win too and no interceptions. There is no way to compare them at this time. I hope that Bradford can have a good first game against the raiders.
