Um, buy. We just signed him to a three year deal, and his 2007 salary is half of what his salary right now is. He's approaching another 1,000 yard season and is still a very capable and productive starter. Furthermore the only other legit possible starting WR we have looks to be hitting the market in March if we can't get something done. So I don't see any reason whatsoever to cut him.

Hey brm, that decision was made last year when we signed Ike with a hefty signing bonus. If we cut him now we will have his prorated cap money remaining on the books, and, ironically enough, that could hinder our ability to sign a quality defensive player. This is a "buy" all the way.

im buying this.bruce is still a very productive wr & he is mr ram. i was so glad to not have to see him play for another team and hope he finishes his career where he belongs. IMO he has several years of good football left him. curtis is a good wr and could be a #2 but im assuming someone is going to throw crazy money his way and the rams will not be able to afford him,mcdonald IMO is a goner. what do you guys think of Dominique thompson? seems they have had this guy on the practice squad for a couple seasons,they must see some potential in him.hopefully minus curtis & mcdonald the rams will promote from within and focus the draft & free-agency where it belongs,defense & offensive line.

I can't believe you typed that...please tell one of the following is true:
A) Had a little to much drinky drinky tonight.
B) Posting that just to get a rise out of everyone.

If not BRM, you need to go to your room and think about what you just said young man.

Seriously though, Bruce has been to good to this team and is still too good of a player to cut or trade him at this point. In fact, if he retires for any team besides the Rams, it will be a crime.

I say keep. If the contract demands and salary cap allows Isaac wouuld certainly be a wonderful mentor/teacher to the new crop(s) of Rams receivers.

I would certainly hope that the Rams and Bruce can come to an equitable way to ensure Bruuuuuce to retire as a Ram. I certainly would hate for animosity to cause Isaac to leave and enter the HOF in a uniform other than a Rams unifrom.
