Cameron To Be Hired As Rams' SHOC

It was no secret in recent days that the Rams were considering hiring Cam Cameron as an assistant coach. Some welcomed this possibility, while others questioned how well Cameron would work with Scott Linehan, himself an offensive-minded coach.

The Rams have resolved this by creating an innovative title and role for Cameron. He has been hired as the Rams' Second Half Offensive Coordinator (SHOC). This newly created title is the product of this year's abysmal second half performances by the Rams.

So, how will it work? Apparently, Cameron will be required to sit in a sensory-deprivation chamber during the first half of each game. At halftime, he will be let out and advised of the first half score. He will then implement his own second-half game plan. Linehan will not be permitted to impact the second half playcalling.

After explaining this new position, John Shaw stated "its just part of the this organization's commitment to being ahead of the curve in innovation, as we have been for the past two decades."

In the first half of games, there will be a realtime fan voting system that will allow the fans to call each play and have their selections transmitted directly into a wireless wrist-mounted version of the ePhone which is worn by the QB.

Linehan will be playing a game of Madden 2009 and will just ask the game what play to run.

The problem will come when the Rams get a first down but the game is on 4th.
