Re: Can Brown go to town?
I'm honestly not too familiar with his work (not a lot of Ravens games over here on the west coast), but i've got to believe there was a valid reason he was the #1 top rated FA center on the market this past off season. that alone has got to mean he's earned some critical acclaim for his work in the trenches.
given the 2008 OL for the Rams, even if he's average, Brown is a huge upgrade.

Re: Can Brown go to town?
Not really a big fan of the options. He is not underrated, nor is he overrated.
He is who we think he is. He was who we thought he was! And the Ravens let him off the hook!

Re: Can Brown go to town?
Brown has everything you can ask for in a young center, good size, smarts, and is healthy. Also, he has two very guards on either side of him which doesn't hurt. Don't worry he'll be fine. He's a MAJOR upgrade over Romberg or Lecky that's for sure.

Re: Can Brown go to town?
I think it's pretty much impossible to tell at this point. At least let him play a game first.

I think he's a big upgrade from what we have had.

Can Brown "go to town"? What does that mean?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Can Brown go to town?
We did this to Jacob Bell too.
Hopefully with the addition of Jason Brown, both him and Bell can play at top notch levels.
They were effective players with their old squad.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

Re: Can Brown go to town?
Okay...
So if Brown "goes to town," I guess that would mean that Bell would "go to..."
Never mind.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Can Brown go to town?
It doesn't really matter who we have... For any line or for the offence to work we need to break 2 games with the same line up this year. Please better training this year, injuries are the biggist issue I think we've had for the last couple years

Re: Can Brown go to town?
I watched a fair bit of J. Brown's performances last year versus some of the best interior D-linemen in the league & he looked great but it depends on the unit as a whole whether he'll look as good for us,right?
To get the max out of Jax
A Jason he'll be chasin'
You can take your pick
which one will ass-kick
But Barron must start carin'
Richie must be less *****y
And Bell must stay well
By working together
playin' tough as old leather
They'll provide the right spark
to revive battered Marc
And the Rams will rule forever
May Shakespeare forgive me.Last edited by Azul e Oro; -05-31-2009 at 06:17 AM.
