You can't even see finnegan's shove from that angle, cortland really is a master manipulator. Love how he just walks away like a boss. Just goes to show that that was exactly what he wanted to happen. He had no interest in fighting Morgan, he just wanted that 15 yarder. Love it.

I totally agree, Slug. My sphincter was winking wildly at that moment; it could easily have been called. And it wasn't just Long; there were several Rams clapping & seemingly jawing towards the WASH sideline but I doubt The Skins were minding their manners, either. I also remember a Skin standing over Sims after he bowled into the WASH sideline, jawing down at him, on that controversial hit out of bounds call early on in the game.An offsetting taunting penalty there would have killed that drive which,iirc, led to a TD.

The zebs had totally lost control by the time of that final brouhaha but there had been so many blown calls that led to changes in the scoreline that it's impossible to say who got the worst of it.WASH just got screwed last. I'm just glad none of the injuries seemed to be caused by their incompetence.

Oh, come on! Chris Long was only saying, "You gotta be smarter than that!" That's all. In fact, the Ref that is pulling the Rams DE away is probably saying, "I know, that's what I think too."

Players hanging around during a ruckus, doing their own little antics is nothing new, regardless of regular or decaffeinated Refs. I see no issue in this incident as long as Long didn't forcibly do something foolish like bumping carelessly against an official or, punching an opponent or, throwing the ball at him and such. [BTW, this infamous incident should be called 'The Marred Morgan' or 'The Morgan Moment', something like that. It deserves to be time honored. ^_^]


Next we're going to want a penalty called on a player that hands the football to a Ref with the laces facing down. // Look, the Refs are making mistakes, yes. But that does not justify us fans becoming childish, making matters even worse.

Morgan on Sunday discussed the play in a post-game interview and admitted that he had hurt his team by losing his composure.
