    Can We Beat the Redskins????

Can we beat the Redskins??? I think this is the biggest game of the year for us. If we can find the composure and the balls to beat this team it would send a message.

Hopefully Spags can get this team hyped up for this game!!!!

If we can at least prevent a blowout (stay 10 points below them), then there's still hope for the season but the game against Seattle (week 4) is more crucial to if we're capable of winning some this season.

This is a winnable game no doubt. Vegas thinks we'll be in it (-4). ESPN Intel only has us -5 ....

The Redskins cannot run the ball, and they have a HORRIFIC, and I mean, HORRIFIC, pass defense ....

If we can pick up the blitz, I think we'll be right in this one ...

Our wideouts may have the ability to make their pass defense look good.

I don't think we're gonna win this one.

Although their run game may be bad, McNabb passed over 400 yards against the Texans last game.

Also, their run defense is also good, because they bottled up the Texans run game.

    We'll see.

The game is winnable IF the coaching staff can make necessary adjustments on-the-fly in the second half. The first two games have shown a glaring lack of that ability.

I think this will be a good test for the Rams early in the season that could have a affect on the rest of the season. Most importantly Steven Jackson needs to have a very big day to keep us in this one. But Jackson's success depends on how the oline will block. In the 2nd half of the Raiders game there were no holes and the line couldn't hold their blocks long enough to help Jackson. Sam Bradford has potential to have a really big day because he will be seeing a 3-4 and thats what he saw a lot of in the pre season. I'm very interested to see if fendi onobun will get to see some time on offense this week too.

Well, I'm hoping you guys launch your season Week 4, thanks. Losing to the Texans stung mightily and we need to turn OUR season around this weekend. We have Philly, the Colts and the Packers on the horizon.

If we had beaten the Texans, this might have become the classic "trap" game for us. Now it becomes something much, much more important.

I wish you people all the best in the world this season. Just not this week, please.

Re: Can We Beat the Redskins????

Can we win? Sure. The defense has played pretty well most of the time, Bradford has made some impressive NFL throws, it looks like we have some pretty good WRs stepping up, and we could have (arguably) won both games we've played this year.

Will we? Maybe. If we can't get pressure to McNabb he will probably have a big day, and I don't think Bradford is ready for an NFL shootout. The o-line scared me last week after allowing some sacks early on, but if everything is clicking I think this offense can score some points.

For us to win I think everything has to line up right, and we can NOT afford those drive-killing penalties and mistakes that have haunted us for a while now.

We beat them the last two times we played them and with inferior talent.

We can win, just need to play smart football and not have too many turnovers on the football field. Football.

HELL YEAH!!!! Matter of Fact!! TO YOU D.C. FOOLs. IT'S ON!!!!
Rams are coming out to PUNCH you in your RED GRILL!!!
The Cowboys beat you WEEK 1 if not for AB. The Houston loss shows that the Redskins are old. Old coach, an old McNabby, they got rid of old LJ, and Portis is getting older by the every other 2:00 minute warning.
One thing about the Rams, WE ARE YOUNG! (AS Pat Benatar would say)No one can tell us we're wrong, Heart ache to heart ache we share, No promises, No demands LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD!!!!
No LOVE for you REDSKINS...There's gonna be a BATTLE on the FIELD at the ED!!!!!

    P.S. "BRING YOUR POPCORN!!!!

Sure we can beat them silly skins. We just have to stop beating ourselves. You know, we should be 2-0.

No we shouldn't. We don't deserve to be 2-0.
