Cardinals In Saint Louis

Quick! Who Was The First Women Owner To Bring A Football Franchise To Saint Louis?
Hint: It's Wasn't Georgia Frontiere
The Answer Is Violet Bidwill (assumed Control Of The Team After The Passing Of Her Husband, Charles W. Bidwiill, Sr.), Who Moved The Team From Chicago To The Gateway City In 1960.
Upon Mrs. Bidwill's Death In January Of 1962, Team Control Moved To Sons Charles W. Bidwill, Jr. And William V. Bidwill, The Latter And His Family Gained Sole Ownership With William Becoming Managing Gerneral Partner.
On July 1, 1976 Incorporation Of The Company Was Accomplished With Bidwill Continuing As Chief Executive Officer.
The Cardinals Spent 28 Years In Saint Louis, Relocating To Arizona In 1988.
