Well, I'm just glad to see so many coming around to Carriker. Though I am curious where the "Carriker is too small to play DT", "Carriker is too big to play DE", "Carriker is just a 3-4 lineman", "Carriker is overhyped" crowds are now. Hmm.

Patrick Willis is a hands down LOCK for defensive rookie of the year ...
Here's stats on defensive rookies- Willis looks like he'll get the nod for ROY.

Certainly not! Not in my book. :bash:Quote:
Does anyone out there have a problem with Carriker -- GC
Funny, before reading this thread I had just posted on Infiniti's Haslett Poll that AC and Ryan, should they continue to develop, will be part of a successful Rams defense. It is most gratifying to see Carriker take on so responsibly his assignment; I believe he will grow into a top 7 DT in the near future.
Definitely has the right mental / physical attributes, enormous potential.
First off any body can tackle some body but its how effective it is this is to all the people thats crazy for "Willis" for example how many turnovers have he created how many 3rd or 4th downs have he stoped, all this counts, he is a LB his job is to tackle just like a WR is going to catch the ball but how many 3rd down conversion can you make or underpressure catches can you catch, that seperates the good from the elite
ya know , alot of you guy's were CARRIKER HATERS last year , HASLETT has got this line holding its own very well , and if you look at who is there , it even seemsmore remarkable . CARRIKER - RYANS - WROTEN - ADEYAJU -T. JOHNSON , and MOORE . CHRIS LONG has been my pick for the rams from day one this year , and no-one will change my mind .
