Choose 1 player you would like to see play like a Probowler.
The one player I would most like to see play like a Probowler would be Kennedy. Even though its his walk year. If he would step up and play like a first round pick and like a Probowler we would have our defense solved. He would allow the LBs to be more productive along with Carriker, Hall, and Little. He would help the run as well as the DBs by allowing the others to get to the QB quicker. I would really like to see him have a big year I just am not holding my breath. Hopefully he has worked hard this offseason on his strength and conditioning.

Brain Leonard, just so everyone would know we are not complete fools for drafting him. That would only happen if he played FB, so it won't. I'd love to see the end opposite to Little. That would probably either be Victor Adayanju or James Hall. How great would that be? Two 2 Pro Bowler DE.

Easy pick......Kennedy.
If the NT plays like a pro-bowler, the whole defense looks better."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Carriker, to stop the run and make some sacks.
or
Tye Hill, a pro bowl CB will help big time.

Hall if he gets 10 plus sacks and plays the run well we will have a great year.

I will go with who ever ends up manning the center spot. That will be key to the offensive production.

Kennedy makes the Pro Bowl and we go to the Super Bowl. He wouldn't make our defense the best but it would vastly improve and an average defense with our offense would be Super Bowl bound.

It has to be kennedy. He is the critical swing factor, probably for the entire team. If kennedy has a pro bowl year, we are going deep into the playoffs at the minimum and potentially to the superbowl.

That's assuming that everybody else plays to potential General. If Kennedy has a pro-bowl year and a number of people fall off, it won't make a difference.
I personally would prefer that everybody has a solid year, with no one necessarily making the pro-bowl.

I don't know GC ... it is Kennedy's contract year. We get one good year out of the guy and he'll want a king's ransom. I would rather it be Carriker. Number one: we will own his rights over a multi-year period. Number two: it will give the new coaching regime another 1st round high quality starter for the second year in a row. Mind you I won't be rooting against JK, but I find myself playing the cynic's advocate when it comes to going through another year waiting for the light to "turn on" for JK. At this point I find it akin to leaving the porch light on for Jimmy Hoffa ... J. Hall could really make some noise as well .. hope hope hope !!!

Re: Choose 1 player you would like to see play like a Probowler.
To be honest, I've pretty much given up on the idea of Kennedy playing like a Pro Bowler next year. He's not taking to the nose tackle position and its responsibilities. I think he's trying too hard to make a play and getting caught out of position. The more pressure he has on him, the more he's going to be tempted to try for a big play to get noticed when he should be focusing on maintaining his own gap assignments.
For the sake of realism, I'll go with Witherspoon. If he can continue to make tackles sideline to sideline and improve at making plays close to the line of scrimmage when opponents run between the tackles, he will be a Pro Bowler, and we will have a much improved defense. I think as he gets more accustomed to reading plays from the middle position, he can do just that.

Yeah, I'm picking Kennedy as well. It all starts with the D-line. You get pressure, your are going to force throws, and that will lead to turnovers.
