Chris Long and the four point stance

Have you seen that four point stance that Long lines up in? It looks odd, but cool at the same time, like he is about to pounce!

What an awesome season this guy is having. In a season where the Rams are struggling, he is playing so well. Considering that teams can run on this D with ease and don't need to pass much due to being in the lead often, the fact he has been able to rack up 10 sacks is ridiculous.

    NFL Sack Stats
    1. DeMarcus Ware 14
    2. Jared Allen 13.5
    3. Von Miller 10.5
    3. Jason Pierre-Paul 10.5
    5. Jason Babin 10
    5. Chris Long 10

Just think: If Rod Hood hadn't pointlessly held his guy on Sunday, Chris Long would have got another sack and would be 3rd in the league!!

Interesting match up for Long this week, versus Anthony Davis.? Long had two of his best games last year against him. Im surprised to say, Im actually looking forward to this Niner game.?

Just another case in point that we have some talent on this team.

Yup. He says he likes to do it because he can get his hands up faster. I guess that MMA training really did help him. I love Long. He is the future alongside Laurinaitis on the defense. If we actually scored points and teams had to throw more, he'd be leading the league right now.

I'm fine with whatever stance he's using as long as it works! Oh and Jason Babin went to my high school, that guys a monster too!

Its weird seeing a 4-3 DE line up that way, but I love it

Re: Chris Long and the four point stance

Chris Long now up to joint third in the league following his two sacks against the Niners

    1. DeMarcus Ware 15
    2. Jared Allen 14.5
    3. Jason Babin 12
    3. Chris Long 12
    5. Von Miller 10.5
    5. Jason Pierre-Paul 10.5

I don't know about you but i think Long has already had a great season, but with 4 games to go i think he can still put up some more sacks. It really is amazing how he can get so many sacks when teams play in the lead and don't pass the ball as much

Quality player in every sense, if there's hope in the midst of this train-wreck of a season it looks a bit like Chris Long with a touch of James Laurinatis.
