Coakley played He was so-so...missed a few tackles and could not chase down Carr.

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports it would not be overly surprising to see St. Louis Rams LB Trev Faulk start the team's Week 12 game at middle linebacker ahead of LB Chris Claiborne. Faulk got almost all of the work with the starters this week instead of Claiborne. "We'll see what happens on Sunday," Faulk said. "Last year, I started like (two) games, got a little taste, but not enough. So I've been hoping to get some more action. We'll see."

Updating a previous report, St. Louis Rams LB Trev Faulk is starting the team's Week 12 game at middle linebacker in place of LB Chris Claiborne.

So it looks like Claiborne was benched, but it doesn't specifically say why.

yeah clairborne did not play today, i thought he would have a bigger impact on the rams this season.... he has does nothing to warrant his signing

Yep. I agree he hasn't done anything to show the money he got. WHy couldn't we have signed Antonio Pierce
