Re: Clan Confessions: What do you want to atone for?

Re: Clan Confessions: What do you want to atone for?
Ive had my fair share of oversights. The harshest one being on SJ39 after the game in Detroit week 1. I was out of order. D. Amendola and Gibson have both been given unnecessary stick because of my impatience. Sam Bradford also has took some flak. However, I feel it was deserved to be honest.!

Re: Clan Confessions: What do you want to atone for?
Brandon Gibson is the one I for sure would like to apologize to. I was just so frustrated with him in previous seasons, and didn't want to see him beat anyone out in the preseason only to drop so many passes in the regular season yet again. Boy was I wrong. The coaches saw what they saw and knew what they knew.
All the best Brandon! Keep going strong!

Re: Clan Confessions: What do you want to atone for?
I can't think of any player I have been unduly harsh too. Maybe I'm just too reasonable with my analysis

I guess I can say that I'll apologise to Coach Fish for questioning him not challenging certain calls on Sunday, such as the Gibson TD and the Richardson spot on 3rd down. In hindsight, it appears that Fisher was only going to challenge something if it was clear as clear can be that the call should be overturned. The Gibson one wasn't certain that he got both feet in, it was hard to tell on the Richardson one, and there probably wasn't enough evidence to call the Jackson run a TD. The way the refs were calling it, Coach Fish couldn't have known if there was going to be a challenge he was going to need late in the game, and by challenging the Gibson and Richardson calls he could easily have lost both challenges in the first half.
Of course, if we had lost I would be shouting and screaming that he should have challenged them, but it worked out well

Re: Clan Confessions: What do you want to atone for?
I've been feeling guilty for being afraid of the two upcoming *****'s games. I was hoping these games were on weekdays so I could arrange some concrete to be poured or get my teeth cleaned or something. But hey, it might not be an asskickin after all. I'm stocking the fridge.
Patient, not saintly.

I want to apologize to Brian Schottenheimer. I didn't think he was going to be capable of running a solid offense, and he has not only proven me wrong, hes spit on my face. He's called perfect plays at perfect times, and developed great game-plans.

Re: Clan Confessions: What do you want to atone for?
I wanted Suh ..
I thought Brandon Gibson was cannon fodder.
I wanted Maualuga -thought he'd be a beast for us.
My biggest sin was believing Spags should get another year because of all the injuries, because of this, and because of that - blah blah blah .....
I will say that when Spags got the axe - Fisher was who I fervently hoped we'd end up with, and Stan got his man!
P.S. There is probably a whole bunch more to confess, but I'm old and my memory is fortunately (in this case) not what it used to be ..

Well, all-righty then; consider me one happily unburdened goy

And may I say, it's good to have the fun & creative AV back. Not sayin' many of the targets you've skewered verbally of late have been undeserving but this kind of fresh angle on matters Ram is just as important to the quality of conversation here as your football smarts and verbal acuity,IMHO.
