On to Week 4...
This is another "best of the worst" poll. Here are the nominees:
James Laurinaitis
Laurinaitis had 7 tackles, an interception and a defended pass. His interception should have been a HUGE play, but the offense could not convert.
Justin King
His interception and return gave the Rams life when they truly needed it. For all the criticism he's received (deservedly), he had a decent game last week.
Brad Fletcher
The CBs had a decent game overall. Fletcher lead the Rams with 7 solo tackles.
Darien Stewart
Stewart had 6 tackles, one for a loss, and three passes defended. I think we'll be seeing more of him.
Donnie Jones
I hate to put a punter on this list, but there's no way any offensive player should get the nod. Jones had 8 punts for a 45 yard average, including a 65 yarder, and 2 punts downed inside the 20.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: ClanRam 2011 Rams MVP (Week 4 Poll)
I was leaning towards Lauranitis but then thought about how our defense was gashed in the running game. So I gave some love to King!

Re: ClanRam 2011 Rams MVP (Week 4 Poll)
I say give the player of the week to the guy who scheduled our bye this week. I don't think I could have held up starting to a probable 0 and 7 start without the break to give us all a sabbatical from all this horror!!!!!!

You know what, even though it was just a right place right time play, and he gave up the first touchdown, I'm giving it to Mr. King- if nothing else than to boost his spirits

Re: ClanRam 2011 Rams MVP (Week 4 Poll)
Stewart was all over the field on defense, which was a nice bounce-back after some down moments against the Ravens. It would be easy to give it to JL, but I'm going to give some love to an underdog here.
